IONWOOD is a proud winner of the 2013 Industry Excellence Awards, in the category of Innovation and R&D, awarded by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB), a statutory body accredited to the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities.
The MTIB 40th Anniversary Celebration cum Awards Presentation was held on 23 April 2013 at Hotel Sunway Putra, Kuala Lumpur. In conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of MTIB, a company with the greatest contribution to the wood industry was selected from over 1000 companies to receive the prestigious award. IONWOOD was honored with the Industry Excellence Awards from MTIB for its unique IONWOOD flooring. The company representative received the award from Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Yassin.
The judges commented that IONWOOD delivered the most innovative, exciting and creative flooring that can provide health benefits to people. This flooring s predicted to become a new trend in the market.
